Happy Birthday Dawson ( and pics)

A very special day today indeed. Our little hero has turned 4!! Its unbelievable what this past year has brought us. Especially seizure freedom!! ( 345 days seizure free today.) This year has been a dream for us. I remember hearing the words Infantile Spasms for the first time, and I clearly remember thinking that we would never ever be where we are today. A little boy, who with the help of Gods healing hand, beat an unbeatable seizure disorder and is now on a developmental fast track, attending preschool, communicating with us and able to actually hold a conversation. I find myself in awe of his developmental progress and marvel at the resolve of this very very special boy.

Happy Birthday Dawson!! We all love you more than you will ever know!!

Happy Birthday sweet boy!

Seems like yesterday you were such a little guy, battling the beast. We hung as tight knit group back then, finding our way, or at least trying, with the help of each other. We came to love each other in this indescribable virtual way and world and we rejoiced in the triumphs and prayed harder in the moments that needed it most.

You have come so far and you continue to inspire. We are blessed to have found you in this great big world and we thank you for sharing your journey with us.

Love and kisses from your California friends, to our special Bama buddies!

Happy Birthday Dawson! So great to see how well he's doing it! If you don't mind me asking, are you guys planning on vaccinating him anymore? I know he's had reactions in the past and what seems to be a direct correlation between vaccines and seizures so I'm just curious! My son has seizures and he had his first within a couple days of his 2 month vaccines. He's not had any other vaccines since!

NIcole, he is not going to be get any more vaccines. We do believe that in his case there is direct correlation. If you have any other questions or if we can help you in any way, please let us know.
