Good evening from the Wade's. He had two episodes of seizures today. 23 seizures in one cluster and 18 in the other, so no change yet since coming off the Vigabatrin. Looks like we will be heading to Birmingham to do some " Phase II " testing. I was thinking today that I wish I had a nickel for everytime I have typed or said the word " Seizure" in the past three months. I would have quite a stack of money.
We are so blessed despite the seizures. He is sitting in his high chair right now playing with his toys. Every now and then he decides to give one a sling. We are still mastering the art of sitting up and hopefully by the time he turns 6 months he will be sitting unassisted.
We have yet to hear from the people at Early Intervention and so we will be making some phone calls to find out what the deal is with that.
Thanks for taking the time to check in on Dawson, and we hope to see everybody back here tomorrow.

Hi Jeff & Allison, we have been following the blog and are so sorry for what Dawson and you all are going through. We are just south of Birmingham and have extra beds available anytime you need to stop over or spend the night please call. - Lisa Wade
Just thought I would stop over and let you know I linked your site to Camis! I pray he soon overcomes the seizures! He is way too cute and those vides are so heartbreaking! It brings back some bad memories of Cami going through them! My thoughts are with you!
Best Wishes!
Karen
Sounds like Dawson is stickin' his little tongue out at the IS "odds"...that's wonderful!
EI can be a pain in the bootay...just don't be afraid to vocalize your concerns. The first time the PT evaluated Trev she actually said he didn't qualify - because he's doing so great developmentally. I had to call...and make sure that we were all clear on everything. Anyway...it's worth fighting for your little guy!
All the best to you guys...
