Today's headlines should read " Fussy baby in Killen Alabama refuses to sleep, parents lose their minds in the process"
He is in bad need of a nap today but bless his heart, he cant seem to sleep long enough to make a difference. He went to sleep on Allison not too long ago but as soon as she tried to get up he woke up too. An all to familiar story for some other parents who read this.
Seizures have been about the same. Not a real big difference since going down to .5ml on his Keppra. I assume we will go ahead and combine the Keppra with the Topamax on Monday.
I think there is a dart board somewhere with all the names of anti epileptic drugs on them. We stand back and throw a dart and wherever it lands... well there ya go.
So were getting anxious about this next trip to Children's Hospital. We are excited that it may provide some answers but we are nervous about the procedures. Its obvious God is keeping a close watch over this baby and we know everything will turn out for the best.
We hope everybody enjoyed the updated pics of our "Big" little man and we thank you for stopping in and checking on him.
We love you.
Jeff and Allison

Happy Birthday Ally! I love you very much and hope that you have a wonderful day and that you get all the rest you need and your family will have a break from all of the chaos that you have been going. My prayers will be with you today even more than every other day that God will allow you to enjoy this time with your family! Love you all very, very much.
What a cutie!
Okay...not to be "all in your bizz"...buuuuuuuuuut having gone through the whole sleepless saga recently ourselves I thought I might be able to offer a tidbit of advice.
Trev wasn't sleeping in large part to the whole weaning process.
Then that migrated into a very nasty ear infection.
Which led to poor sleeping habits established! Ugh!
Anyway...we started using chewable melatonin at nights...and it has really improved his sleep. Plus...we're giving the whole ferber thing a shot. Lay him down drowsy...after 3 mins if he's crying go rub his back til' he sleeps. It seems to be helping.
I know the hardest part is the always wondering whats going on in his little brain...it's hard not to worry for our babies.
Anyway...you might want to give the melatonin a try? I wish I knew about it way before...would've used it on the big kids too!
...danielle
I'm dying to try the melatonin, but Reagan's doctor said that we need to wait until she's off the ACTH. I know how you feel about the cranky mood on Sunday, Reagan was the same way yesterday. It seems like she alternates, she'll have a horrible day and then the next day she'll be much better. (God giving us a little break...) I hope Dawson is in a better mood today!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MOMMY ALLISON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOVE YOU ALL!
